interRel has released two new books as part of their #1 selling Hyperion book series, Look Smarter Than You Are With Hyperion Essbase. The first books ever released on the newest Oracle Fusion Edition 11 version, Look Smarter Than You Are with Essbase 11: An Administrator’s Guide and Look Smarter Than You Are With Smart View and Essbase 11: An End User’s Guide will be officially unveiled at the COLLABORATE 09 conference.
These books were released in reaction to the wide number of companies moving to Oracle Fusion Edition 11. We wanted to not only update our last book, Look Smarter Than You Are With Essbase System 9, but also include a plethora of new content. Look Smarter Than You Are with Essbase 11: An Administrator’s Guide contains over 300 new pages of content with an remarkably large portion devoted to ASO (Aggregate Storage Option).
Our second new release, Look Smarter Than You Are With Smart View and Essbase 11: An End User’s Guide, guides you through the innovative features available in Smart View 11, including Smart Slices and Report Designer. This book is not only for Essbase users but also useful for those accessing Hyperion Financial Management, Planning, OBIEE and more. Since the majority of people using Smart View have Essbase, we chose Essbase for the exercises in our book.

If you are attending the Collaborate 09 or ODTUG Kaleidoscope conferences, the books will also be available for sale at our booths. There will be book signings with the authors of the book, Edward Roske and Tracy McMullen, at the Collaborate Bookstore from 12:45-1:30PM on Wednesday, May 6.
